Please join us for our 2009 Thompson Okanagan Dental Meeting! Held annually in October, the Thompson Okanagan Dental Society hosts 3 days of continuing dental education, exhibits and the Annual General Meeting for the society. The meeting is hosted by the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre, Kelowna, British Columbia. We are pleased to offer something for the entire dental team with a variety of speakers and scientific programs.

Pre-Approved Continuing Education Credits
The CDSBC also reminds dentists and certified dental assistants to be aware of limits allowed for certain subjects. The CDSBC Guidelines for Mandatory Continuing Education state in section 3 Categories and Credits:
“Subject matter being dental practice management to a maximum per cycle. Hour-for-hour credit: Dentists: maximum of 30 credits per cycle; Certified dental assistants: maximum of 18 credits per cycle”.
Dental practice management also encompasses dental computer/data programs, patient management/motivation, and dental records management.
